A 13-year-old Melbourne girl has done Australia proud, coming third at the Junior Eurovision song contest in Georgia.

Brentwood Secondary student Isabella Clarke managed the podium finish with the song, “Speak Up”, which she co-wrote with two producers.

She told Neil Mitchell she’s been singing since she was 9-years-old.

“I started singing about four or five years ago,” Isabella said.

“I was just a bit of a shower singer.”
