Melbourne Zoo welcomes new arrival!

Melbourne Zoo has welcomed a new spider monkey!

The infant, which arrived on Saturday, is the first spider monkey to be born at the zoo in seven years.

Its gender is still unknown.

The species, found in South America, is endangered due to hunting and deforestation.
