Melbourne’s most notorious roads have been identified, and Plenty Road in Bundoora has taken out the title as the city’s worst crash hotspot for the fourth consecutive year.

The latest AAMI Crash Index data shows the busy Bundoora strip, along with Springvale Road in Glen Waverley and in Springvale, are the top three locations where you’re most likely to have a crash.

Nose-to-tail collisions are the most common type of crash.

The data reveals the worst days of the week for collisions are Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Victoria’s top five crash hotspots:

  1. Plenty Road, Bundoora
  2. Springvale Road, Glen Waverley
  3. Springvale Road, Springvale
  4. Bell Street, Preston
  5. Craigieburn Road, Craigieburn
