Meteorologist details flood warning for parts of Victoria

A flood warning has been issued for parts of Northern Victoria and Greater Melbourne.

Widespread rainfall totals of 30 to 50 millimetres are expected, with isolated heavier falls of 70 to 100 millimetres possible in some areas.

Senior Meteorologist from the Bureau of Meteorology, Michael Efron, says the rainfall won’t be as threatening as what we saw last year.
