Victoria recorded its wettest October on record, with heavy floods occurring across the state, just a month out from summer.

Meteorologist at the Bureau of Meteorology, Dean Narramore, explained the extreme weather but indicated some good news for Victorians in the next week.

“There’s a lot of warmth coming into the weekend and early next week which I’m sure many of us are looking forward to,” Mr Narramore told Neil Mitchell.
