Metro Tunnel works paused due to bomb scare
Police and the bomb squad have been called to the Metro Tunnel construction site at St Kilda and Albert Roads following a bomb scare.
Roger who works at the site says works have been paused since he arrived at the site around 6:30 this morning.
“There were photos getting around of a … cardboard box with duck tape and wire hanging out of it inside the tunnel,” he told Tom Elliott, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
