Michelle Payne with Ross and John: ‘I thought Bart might’ve been there’

Michelle Payne felt like she had a lot of help as the gates crashed open in the Melbourne Cup.

‘I was in the barriers and said a little prayer to my mum and I was just wondering if (Bart) might’ve been there with me,’ she told Ross and John this morning.
