Midnight Oil getting back together

Midnight Oil has announced the time has come for the band to return to the stage.

Frontman Peter Garrett – having bowed out of federal politics – is working on a solo album due for release in the coming months.

It’s been confirmed he’ll be getting the old band back together for a tour next year with dates and venues to be announced before the end of 2016.
