‘Mind-boggled’: Victorian police officers banned from wearing Australian flag on their uniform

Shadow Police Minister Brad Battin has told 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate that the Australian flag has been banned from appearing on corrections officers’ uniforms, but the Indigenous and LGBTIQA+ flags are allowed.

He says corrections officers around the state are “angry”, “frustrated”, and “annoyed”.

“If you’re going to have a rule for one, you’ve got to have it for all,” Battin said on 3AW Drive.
