‘Miracle’: Driver lucky to be alive after light pole struck his truck

A man is lucky to be alive after his car was struck by a collapsing light pole on the M80 Ring Road, Greensborough-bound at Boundary Road on Wednesday.

His wife Hanna says it’s a miracle he’s still alive.

“It could have been so much worse … all he heard was a big bang and shatter, and there was a really loud noise, he didn’t expect it at all,” she said.
