Mitchell Pearce’s career could be over after lewd video surfaces

Buzz Rothfield thinks Mitchell Pearce’s latest indiscretion could cost him his career.

The NRL star was caught on film simulating a lewd act with a dog on Australia Day.

He has since been ‘stood down’ by the Sydney Roosters until an investigation into the incident is complete.

Buzz told Sports Today on Wednesday that Pearce was an experienced played who should know better by now.

‘Mitchell Pearce has a long history of this sort of drama and I wouldn’t be concerned at all if they did tear his contract up,’ Buzz said.

‘It makes you worried when they’re not learning.’
