Mitchell Shire to be released from lockdown at midnight

The Mitchell Shire will be released from lockdown at midnight tonight.

From midnight, Mitchell Shire will be subject to the same restrictions as the rest of regional Victoria (except Mildura, which remains in lockdown).

Announcing the ending of lockdown, Health Minister Martin Foley commended the community for their “outstanding effort”.

“The public health team are confident that that outbreak is now understood and is being well managed,” Mr Foley said.
