‘Momentous day’: Reporters provide more details after Erin Patterson trial verdict

The jury has handed down the verdict in the Erin Patterson trial, finding her guilty on all charges in the triple murder trial.

Nine News reporter Gillian Lantouris is at the home of Patterson in Leongatha, and said it’s a “momentous day”.

“The eyes on this case has just been enormous,” Lantouris said on 3AW Afternoons.

Nine News court reporter Penelope Liersch was inside the courtroom when the verdict was handed down, and provided details on how everything took place.

“I think there were a lot of hearts racing in that courtroom,” Liersch said.
