Mooning is officially a crime in Victoria.

Exposing a bare bum in public has previously been punishable under other offences, but there is now specific legislation.

First-time offenders could be jailed for two months.

Repeat offenders could be locked up for six months.

Streakers have for a long time faced a jail for their bare-bottomed runs.

‘I don’t want to ruin anyone’s fun, but the act doesn’t really change anything,’ Attorney General Martin Pakula told Ross and John.
