More than 4000 homes and business still without power after wild winds

More than 4000 properties in Melbourne’s outer-east have gone four nights without power following Sunday’s wild winds.

AusNet Services says it will continue repair works on Thursday, but many of them may go a fifth night in the dark tonight.

Dandenong and the Yarra Ranges are the main areas of impact.

The majority of customers will be back on supply by close of business today.
