The Mornington Peninsula is Victoria’s graffiti capital.

In a shock to Tom Elliott, the peninsula had more illegal graffiti offences recorded by police than any other area, according to Crime Statistics Agency data.

The City of Melbourne was second on the list, with Kingston third.

The 3AW Drive host again called for action to deal with the issue.

‘It is a blight on any civilised city,’ Tom Elliott said.

‘It has no artistic merit.

‘It is nothing more than like seeing dogs urinate on a post or fence to mark their territory.’
