A mother was left “apoplectic with rage” after her son was forced to wait almost three hours after being left concussion on a local football field in Bendigo.

Jess Lord said she was forced to load her son onto a stretcher and take to hospital after an ambulance failed to arrive.

She said she was “furious” with the situation, but had sympathy with the nurses and paramedics currently going through a pay dispute.

“I’m apoplectic with rage,” she said on 3AW Drive.
