Mother left ‘shocked’ after her five-year-old son had NDIS funding cut in half

Last Friday, Jacqui Felgate delivered a passionate editorial about a Good Friday Appeal child named Malu, who had his NDIS funding cut in half after turning five.

Malu’s mum Erin said the family were “quite shocked” by the cut in funding, telling the story on 3AW Drive of what happened after his fifth birthday.

“I just sort of think what value are they putting on my child’s brain?” Erin said.
