Motorcyclist dies after colliding with a car at Tyabb

The horror run of motorcyclist fatalities on the state’s roads this year continues following a crash in Tyabb this morning.

Emergency crews were called to Boes Road in Tyabb after reports of a collision between a motorbike and a vehicle at about 6am.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and the motorcyclist died at the scene.

It continues a horror run of motorcyclist fatalities across the state this year, 46 riders have died in crashes which is a 76 per cent increase on last year.

Boes Road in Tyabb remains closed between Clifford Drive and Graydens Road.
