Motorcyclist involved in high speed crash in Melbourne’s south-east

A motorcyclist has been involved in a high speed crash in Melbourne’s south-east, hitting up to 140 kilometres per hour.

Officers attempted to intercept the rider on multiple occasions in the lead up to the crash at Hampton East shortly after midnight.

They eventually found the man, who’d suffered serious injuries, sitting down having a cigarette.
