A motorcyclist has been injured after allegedly speeding down Brighton Pier and crashing into a concrete fence.

Witnesses say the rider, a 39-year-old from Brunswick, was riding down the pier on a Triumph motorcycle at about 70km/hr when he lost control at 2.30am.
