RUMOUR FILE

A Liberal MP stopped to help an injured cyclist in Richmond yesterday.

The Rumour File heard that the member helped out by directing traffic for 40 minutes while the cyclist was attended to.

Craig Ondarchie confirmed he was the one helping out.

‘I thought, ‘what’s the best thing I can do here?” he told Ross and John.

‘Traffic was a nightmare, so I threw on a fluoro vest – which every politician has in the back of their car – and directed traffic.’

Mr Ondarchie confirmed there is a hard hat sitting alongside the vest – and it even has his name on it.
