Mr Worldwide? AFL urged to go big for Grand Final entertainment

Just 12 months after Katy Perry rocked the MCG on Grand Final, is the AFL a chance to lure global icon Pitbull to headline this year’s Grand Final entertainment?

Dubbed ‘Mr Worldwide’, Pitbull will join the likes of Mariah Carey and Wiz Khalifa for a series of much-anticipated gigs across Australia, beginning in Brisbane on October 17.

With the Grand Final less than three weeks before the Fridayz Live shows begin, the AFL is urged to put out all the stops to lure Pitbull to the MCG on September 25.

“Pitbull would be absolutely ideal,” 3AW sports reporter Eddie Summerfield said on 3AW Afternoons.

“There’s a big gap in his schedule.”
