Multiple cars smashed by axe-wielding man in Melbourne’s south-east

Police are hunting an axe-wielding man, after he went on a rampage through several car dealerships in Glen Waverley earlier this month.

The man damaged up to 20 cars at car dealerships along Springvale Road between 6am and 8am on Thursday November 2, before fleeing on foot.

He’s described as being 175cm tall with black curly hair and he was wearing a tan coloured hoodie and pants with slide shoes at the time of the incident.

Anyone who can help in finding the culprit is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
