Massive morning peak delays after rollover on Princes Freeway

Reports of a 10 car crash in Altona have seen big delays across the morning peak.

At least one of the cars has rolled over on the Princes Freeway has ended up on its side, outbound between the M80 Ring Road and Kororoit Creek Road.

Two left lanes are closed before Kororoit Creek Rd, the two right lanes are getting through but delays are building quickly.

George told Neil Mitchell he could count ‘at least nine or 10 cars’ as he drove past.

“It didn’t look too good,” he said.

“There’s civilians on the road directing traffic?” Neil asked.

“Yes,” George said.

It’s not known if any of the drivers were injured in the crash.
