Multiple private councils are now using private security to patrol “anti-social hotspots” and Tom Elliott questioned if that’s the job of Victoria Police.

Secretary of the Police Association Victoria Wayne Gatt joined 3AW Mornings and weighed on the private security patrols in multiple Melbourne councils.

“Let’s be really honest, we’re seeing increased levels of violence,” Gatt said on 3AW Mornings.
