Dogs stolen and killed in ‘disturbing’ incident in state’s north-west

Two dogs have been found dead a day after being stolen from a property in the state’s north-west.
The Jack Russells, three-year-old Sassy and six-month-old Buzzy, were taken by a driver of a white ute at Moliagul, west of Bendigo on Sunday.
Leading Senior Constable from Bridgewater Police Station, Mick Balazs, shed light on the incident, and admitted he was a “bit disturbed” when he read the report.

A member of the public located the animals deceased on the side of the Wimmera Highway about six kilometres away on Monday.
No arrests have been made.
