Mum expresses concern at ‘random’ people taking their masks off to interact with her baby

The mother of a nine-month-old says she’s uncomfortable with the number of random people in the street interacting with her child without a mask, or any regard for COVID-19.

Lauren told Neil Mitchell she was flattered the people took an interest in her child.

“But unfortunately they love to take their masks off,” she said.

“They usually say they don’t want to scare her, or they want her to see her face.”
