A Murrumbeena man has gone to the unusual length of commissioning his own artist’s impressions to see what the controversial SkyRail project will look like over his home.

Ed Meysztowicz’s house backs onto the train line, so he’s keen to know what the end product will look like.

But when the authorities showed him their model of what it will look like, they wouldn’t allow him to photograph it.

So using the dimensions they gave him, he asked his friend to construct a realistic impression of what the end product will actually look like.
