Musician Morgan Evans chats to Denis Walter on fame, country music and moving from Newcastle to Nashville

Musician Morgan Evans is certainly taking the world by storm after his big move from Newcastle to Nashville.

He performed ‘Day Drunk’ on 3AW Afternoons with Denis Walter.

“I’ve always played music, I grew up listening to country music,” he said.

“As I got older, I realised that so much of my favourite music came from Nashville.

“I visited there the first time 10 years ago, and I learnt about the song writing community there and that’s what I fell in love with.”
