Police make arrest following fatal house fire in St Kilda

A 30-year-old man has been arrested following a fatal house fire in St Kilda on Wednesday night.

The fire broke out in a two-storey building, which contains a lawyer’s office and residential apartments, on Chapel Street at around 8:40pm.

Firefighters found the injured man and was given emergency treatment but died at the scene.
