NAB boss expects more branches to close
You can expect more NAB branches to close in the coming years.
The National Australia Bank has revealed plans to axe 6,000 jobs over the next three years, as the business becomes more automated.
The banks’ chief executive, Andrew Thorburn, told Neil Mitchell some branches simply weren’t viable.
“We don’t have a target number, but as customers use them less, they become less viable,” he said.
