Nandinas for winter colour

Nandina domestica is commonly known as nandina, heavenly bamboo or sacred bambo.

It is a flowering plant, native to eastern Asia from the Himalayas to Japan. 

And it’s the perfect plant to brighten up the garden at winter, as it has bright red new growth for most of the year.
