Natalie Bassingthwaighte is known as one of the most versatile talents Australia has produced, she joined Darren James on air to talk all things acting, singing and life in the spot light.

Sitting down with Darren for his Talking Melbourne Hour, Nat Bass shared career highlights and the strange things she’s had to do to perform. Including sneaking into Beijing for the 2008 Olympics Games as a synchronised swimmer. “We couldn’t get our visas and everything in time [to perform at The Games] so we had to pretend we were athletes”.

Natalie also shared her surprise in being recognised whilst in London during the height of her Neighbours fame. “Everyone could just not believe that Susan [Jackie Woodburne] and Izzy [Natalie Bassingthwaighte] were sitting together”, having to remind the public that they are in fact “just actors”.
