Nationals decision to split from Coalition stuns political world

A decision by the Nationals to walk away from the Coalition has stunned political onlookers.
Party leader David Littleproud sensationally announced on Tuesday that the Nationals won’t re-enter into their long-running Coalition with the Liberals, but have committed to re-visiting the agreement ahead of the next federal election in 2028.
“This has stunned a few people,” federal politics reporter Michael Pachi said on 3AW Afternoons.
