Nationals leader calls out Chris Bowen over ‘out of touch’ energy policy
The Nationals are leading the charge for the federal coalition to dump net zero.
Nationals leader David Littleproud told 3AW Mornings that federal opposition leader Sussan Ley is “reviewing all policies” as part of a structured process to reach a decision on net zero.

“I know Chris Bowen and co will call me a dinosaur and [say] I’m out of touch. Well, let me tell you, he’s out of touch, Anthony Albanese is out of touch,” Littleproud said.

“There is not much point in Australia … hamstringing ourselves with high power prices and a lack of heavy industry, because frankly, the biggest emitters in the world, China and America, aren’t going to bother,” said the 3AW Mornings host.
