Neil Mitchell accuses Albo of ‘playing games’ over Barnaby Joyce’s ‘bullet’ comments
Neil Mitchell has accused Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of “playing games” over Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce’s “bullet” comments.
Joyce compared ballot papers to bullets at a rally yesterday, with the Prime Minister calling for the MP to be sacked in the aftermath.
“Is that really a sackable offence? Are we really that weak? It’s the Prime Minister playing games,” Mitchell said.

The former 3AW Mornings host also weighed in on the controversial remark made by broadcaster Bob Bollard towards the Australian women’s 4x100m freestyle relay team at the Paris Olympics, which has since seen him sacked.
“It’s silly and it’s sexist, but it’s not sexual,” Mitchell said.
