Neil Mitchell addresses the ‘sourness’ that threatens to divide Victoria
Neil Mitchell senses a “sourness” in Victoria that is threatening to divide the state.
He says Victoria is crying out for leadership, with no “political point-scoring” attached to it.
“It is possible to support Daniel Andrews and be a sensible person,” the 3AW Mornings host said on Wednesday.
“It is possible to criticise Daniel Andrews and be a sensible person.”
Neil Mitchell said death threats levelled at the Premier and key crossbenchers were “atrocious” and should be dealt with by police.
But he also says it’s disgraceful those same crossbenchers had accused him of inciting those radicals.
“The crossbenchers have accused me of deliberately lying to promote violence,” Neil Mitchell said.
“It is total nonsense – defamatory nonsense.
“By all means, disagree with me – I don’t like parts of this pandemic bill – but don’t accuse me of malicious and dangerous dishonesty.”
