Neil Mitchell and the ‘hideous decision’ Australia could soon face

Neil Mitchell says Australia may soon be faced with a “hideous decision” when it comes to the war in Ukraine.

Australia has joined much of the rest of the world in condemning Russia’s invasion, placing heavy economic pressure on Russia as a result.

But that pressure could soon turn to a request for military help.

“If we do stand up for what’s decent, and we do get involved at a military level, we face the threat of the use of nuclear weapons,” Neil Mitchell said on Thursday.

“Putin could be that mad. He could be that bad.

“Now, it would destroy Russia but it would also destroy much of the world.

“It’s too early yet, we are not at that stage, and there are supposedly peace talks happening within hours.

“But there could also be a hideous decision coming here.

“What do we do.

“Do we stand and watch? Or do we stand and fight?”
