Neil Mitchell speaks to a wildly successful businessman who rarely does interviews

Brian McNamee is one of the most successful Victorian business people of all time.

He took biotechnology company CSL from a value of $23 million to $150 billion, but you’ve probably never heard of him.

Now, with a new CSL building opening near Melbourne University, Dr McNamee gave a rare interview on the Neil Mitchell Asks Why podcast.

“Part of this I think (is) I am so proud of the new building … it’s a rebirth of CSL,” he told Neil Mitchell. “No one had heard of us … this is the new CSL. This is us saying ‘Yeah, we’re here, we’re significant'”.
