Neil Mitchell backs Albo’s media warning

Australia’s new Prime Minister has issued a warning to the media.

Anthony Albanese was interrupted by a member of the press pack at his first press conference, prompting the warning.

“You will not get the call earlier because you yell, ok? Can we just, on day one, get that clear?,” he told the journalist.

“Good on him,” Neil Mitchell said. “That’s what he needed to do during the campaign and I don’t mind him doing that at all.”
