Neil Mitchell backs push to subsidise cannabis oil for veterans suffering mental illness

Neil Mitchell is backing a push for medicinal cannabis oil to be subsidised for veterans who use it to treat anxiety, depression and PTSD.

He spoke with Brodie Bush, who spent almost 13 years in the armed forces and served in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Mr Bush said it could cost up to $2000 a month to fill cannabis oil scripts.

“My end game is to ensure veterans are getting the treatment they need,” he said.
