Neil Mitchell has slammed anti-vax protesters for their “cruel and disgusting behaviour” over the weekend.

About 200 protesters blocked the entrances of the Royal Children’s Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Women’s Hospital on Saturday, where they were reportedly chanting “you got the jab and you still got sick” and harassing staff, patients and parents.

Police had to intervene to facilitate entry and exit to the hospitals.

Neil Mitchell says the protests were “simply disgusting”.

“You’re entitled to demonstrate but not entitled to do this,” he said.
