Neil Mitchell calls out ‘inflammatory’ language ‘demonising mainstream Australia’

Neil Mitchell has called for an end to the use of “inflammatory language” by fringe Aboriginal groups which are “demonising” white Australians.

“Lidia Thorpe said yesterday white people were still killing Aboriginal babies. Nonsense! Offensive nonsense!,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

Neil Mitchell says he’s got no problem with changing the date of Australia Day, but inflammatory language isn’t helpful.

“Enough of this inflammatory language and moralising — let’s decide what is wanted, what is best, and negotiate it. Get a treaty, get a mention in the constitution, we cannot let this fester.

“We also cannot just collapse in a woke heap because the morality police say white is evil.

“We’ve got a problem but we are a decent country, I believe, and we are decent enough to sort it.”
