Neil Mitchell details a tip off about an alleged incident at Barwon

Neil Mitchell has received a tip-off about an incident in the youth justice area at Barwon Prison.

3AW Mornings has been told about an incident which apparently happened in the last 24 hours. 

It comes just days after it was revealed Corrections staf armed with batons and capsicum spray would patrol the state’s youth justice facilities following a number of riots and escapes.

‘I’m told there was a fight, erupted over a game of table tennis and the Corrections staff with their OC spray had to be called in by the Department of Human Services,’ he said.

‘I’m told that breaking up the incident did involve capsicum spray and batons.’
