Neil Mitchell details sixth shooting in four weeks

Neil Mitchell has revealed details of another drive-by shooting in Melbourne.

Police confirmed the tip-off from a 3AW Mornings listener this morning.

The shooting happened at 5.20am in Hope Street, Fitzroy North.

It is the sixth drive-by shooting in Melbourne in four weeks.

And even more bizarrely, it’s believed the gunmen shot at the wrong house.

‘It says a bit; they go to the trouble of shooting at a house and can’t get the right property,’ Neil said.

At least three shots were fired.

No one was injured.
