Neil Mitchell hangs up on ‘idiot’ anti-Halal protester

Neil Mitchell has been left stunned by the ‘idiocy’ of an anti-Halal protester involved in a violent brawl at Ascot Vale on the weekend.

Anti-Islam protesters clashed with anti-racism activists, with several people left covered in blood.

Nick Folkes was assaulted at the protest but didn’t seem to be overly regretful about what had happened.

‘You’re an idiot, thanks for talking to us,’ Neil Mitchell said before cutting the call short.
