Neil Mitchell has some advice for Tim Smith

Neil Mitchell has called on Tim Smith to “do his job” on the back of reports he’s fled to the United Kingdom.

It’s been reported the Liberal MP has left Melbourne and flown overseas after he quit shadow cabinet in disgrace after crashing a car into a fence while over the blood alcohol limit.

Neil Mitchell says there is no reason he’s aware of why Mr Smith shouldn’t be in parliament.

“This is almost more damaging than the drunk driving – it shows a level of arrogance, which is very disappointing,” Neil Mitchell said.

“He did a stupid thing, he fronted it, but is now nowhere to be seen but still collecting a significant pay packet from us.

“C’mon, do your job.”
