The degradation of Melbourne.

We found a an entire lounge room in Rockbank…

Found syringes then we went to the foot of the Westgate bridge

Last night we drove the entire ring road, from Laverton to Plenty road.

We found a theme:

  • Graffiti
  • Rubbish
  • Overgrown grass

… a state of disrepair.

Another thing in disrepair, simple accountability.

Depending on where the graffiti or rubbish is, there could be a number of agencies responsible, it depends on who controls the site.

Neil Mitchell spoke with Vince Punaro, VicRoads’ Director of Metro North West.

Vince says they have collected ‘more than a shipping container’ full of rubbish.

It’s costing us millions.

If you know an area that has been given no love from council or VicRoads, let us know.
