Neil Mitchell hears of terrifying attack and car-jacking in St Albans

Frightening details have emerged of another violent car-jacking.

Tim (not his real name) said on 3AW his sister and brother-in-law arrived home at St Albans around 11pm on Monday night when they were confronted by three or four males.

He told Neil Mitchell his 12-year-old niece got out of the car as the offenders assaulted her father and fled with the vehicle.

‘Two or three were laying into him, kicking him while he was on the ground,’ he explained on 3AW Mornings.

‘I just feel for my niece – she’s traumatised.

‘She’s too scared to stay in the house now.’

Police have since arrested 13 teenagers over the alleged theft of a car at St Albans.
